These are just a few of the places I have been to that remain my favourite places to have visited.

My Favourite Places

We went to Port Manatee in Tampa Bay Florida, we decided to check out a new attraction called Walt Disney World. Wonder if it ever caught on?

Although a ship in a storm wasn't among my favourite places. I like these photos which were taken when I was on the La Cordillera in 1980. The left photo shows a relatively calm South China Sea and the right photo was taken five minutes later as we headed into a hurricane. Not nice!

The Panama Canal is an all time favourite place of mine. The sheer wonder and beauty of the place takes your breath away. Who can remember sending the Galley Boy out to feed the Donkeys that helped pull the ship through the locks............Come on, you know who you are!

I loved going to Monguba in Brazil. 200 miles or so up the Amazon River, and you would get little kids paddling out to greet the ship as it went by.
